Who Are We?

Welcome to Savannah Kitten Home! We are a family-owned cattery located in MA State. Our love for Savannah cats began years ago when we welcomed our first kitten into our home. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to breeding and raising healthy, socialized, and happy Savannah kittens.

At Savannah Kitten Home, we prioritize the well-being of our cats and ensure that they are raised in a clean and safe environment. We follow ethical breeding standards and work closely with our veterinarian to ensure that our cats are healthy and well-cared for.

Our kittens are raised underfoot and are socialized from an early age, which makes them adaptable to different environments and family dynamics. We believe in matching our kittens with the perfect families to ensure that both the kitten and the family have a lifelong, loving bond.

We take great pride in our Savannah kittens and strive to produce kittens that meet the breed standards. Our kittens come with a health guarantee and are up-to-date on all their vaccinations and deworming.

At Savannah Cat Haven, we prioritize ethical breeding practices to ensure the well-being and quality of our Savannah cats. We are dedicated to upholding high standards of care and breeding to produce healthy, well-socialized, and exceptional Savannah kittens.

Our breeding cats undergo regular health checks and genetic testing to ensure they are free from any hereditary conditions that could be passed on to their offspring. We maintain a clean and safe environment for our kittens, providing them with proper nutrition, veterinary care, and plenty of socialization to promote their physical and emotional well-being.

We adhere to the breed standards established by reputable cat organizations, such as the International Cat Association (TICA), to ensure that our Savannah cats possess the distinctive physical traits and temperaments that make them unique.

Routine Care for a Savannah

Savannah cats have specific care requirements due to their unique characteristics. Please visit our Savannah Cat Care Tips webpage for valuable information on how to provide the best care for your kitten.

Veterinary Care

Your kitten will come with a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, as well as copies of the negative HCM scan results from both parents. It is essential to schedule a vet visit within 48 hours of receiving your kitten. Finding a veterinarian familiar with the Savannah breed is crucial for their well-being, and we can recommend a trusted vet located in Texas.

We recommend the following vaccinations for your kitten:

  • FVRCP: First dose starting between 6-8 weeks, followed by additional doses every 4 weeks until 16 weeks (4 total).
  • FeLV: Administered once during the first year of life.
  • Rabies: Given once during the first year of life, and then annually for the rest of their life.
  • No FIP! Please note that we do not administer the FIP vaccination, as it has been associated with FIP outbreaks in the Savannah breed and can be fatal.

Thank you for considering adopting a Savannah kitten from us. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are dedicated to ensuring our kittens find the best possible homes and enjoy happy, healthy lives.
